I was watching Animal Channel today and they had a show about Florida wildlife. Turns out… it’s against the law to feed the alligators. They are always trying to catch guides who do it. Once alligators associate food with humans, they become dangerous to humans and have to be euthanized. So “taming” alligators will get you thrown in jail and will get the alligator killed. Food for thought…

I wonder if Burt knew about the effect his gift had on the city of Savannah. The movie was Gator. Great story John. Wish you could have spent more time there.
